ThinkSystem DE4000H is a scalable hybrid entry-level storage system designed to provide performance, simplicity, capacity, security, and high availability for medium to large enterprises.
The DE4000H has a 2U rack design that supports 24 2.5-inch SFF drives or 12 3.5-inch LFF drives, as well as a 4U rack design that supports 60 LFF drives. The maximum bare capacity can support up to 3.456PB. Provides up to 300000 IOPS and a maximum continuous throughput of 10Gbps. The controller's memory configuration is 16GB or 64GB, providing sufficient memory for the system to handle complex data workloads.
Supports multiple expansion cabinets, including DE120S 2U12 LFF, DE240S 2U24 SFF, or DE600S 4U60 LFF, supporting up to 192 drives in total. Adopting Dynamic Disk Pooling (DDP) technology, it provides advanced data protection features, including snapshots, volume replicas, and asynchronous and synchronous mirrors (supported by specific models). Supports multiple types of drives, including SAS solid state drives (SSDs) and SAS hard disk drives (HDDs), providing flexible data placement and performance tuning. Design to achieve 99.9999% availability with redundant hot swappable components, including controllers and I/O modules, power supplies, cooling modules (limited to 4U60 LFF chassis only), and non disruptive firmware upgrades. Provide driver level encryption and local key management to ensure the security of static data.
